Dekko IT offer a fixed price repair on any laptop with a broken power input socket at £99:00 + VAT

This by far and away the most common fault on a laptop.  All other repairs are estimated first and advice given as to whether it is economical to repair.  The only charge would be an inspection fee of £10:00 should the repair be refused.
